Other stuff of possible interest...Strawberry and Cream was established in 2002 to meet the needs of niche brands emerging into the UK market and to develop unique and alternative retail environments in which to showcase these brands. The company remains family owned and run, a major factor in maintaining its strict brand-focused ethos and commercial flexibility. Its diversity and passion is borne out of the array of industry experience its founders possess, spanning from senior buying and marketing positions in the luxury goods sector to commercial strategic planning right through to motorsport enginerring… not unlike our shop, we’re an eclectic bunch! Hot on our heels are “The Juniors”, Lola, Rudi, Lexi & Jude (aka the offspring!); the new generation of Strawberry and Cream, aged from 5 to 7. Standing out with their individual and colourful characters and unique senses of style, they now have their own department, “Little Folk” in the online store, showcasing their very own selection of products… and we promise we didn’t get involved in their choices - though we’d be lying if we said this wasn’t really tough at times! |
| Our mission...Our mission with strawberryandcream.com is to not only promote but also to protect the work of many artisan craftsmen and designers; to ensure their small collections and one-off pieces are recognised for the passion and quality with which they were created, as items worthy of being cherished and, in time, sought after. Now, we’re not saying these pieces will change your life (although some may!) nor that materialistic things really matter but, what we do hope is, that they can bring a little joy to that rich tapestry we call “every day life”. In the meantime, whilst you have a mosey around the shop, we will continue to seek exciting new brands and concepts alongside our beloved strawberryandcream.com venture. Until we meet again, we are Strawberry and Cream… and we’re OK with that! P.S. In case you hadn’t already guessed… this site was designed and built by The Neon Hive. If you promise to respect their input and give them a little creative freedom, we’re happy to lend you their talents! |
