Katherine gets the Fendi stamp of approval!
We have it on very good faith that Signora Fendi, from the Italian family owned fashion dynasty, is a fan of Katherine Wardropper’s award winning Sculptural Fabric Technique pieces and is said to have recently commissioned one!
If you fancy getting in on the bespoke sculptural fabric revolution, Strawberry and Cream are offering you a unique opportunity to commission one of your very own Katherine Wardropper pieces. Available in one of two styles: the majestic Elizabethan style Ruffle Neck Piece or the ethereal cascading Quill Neck Piece.
Katherine originally hails from Chichester, home to S&C, and for those of you who fancy a trip to the sunny south coast of England, not only can you can admire the architecture of our fair Roman city and the stunning vistas of the beautiful South Downs but you can also see the Sculptural Fabric Technique up close. Katherine will be exhibiting some of her award winning designs as part of Effervescence III; a dynamic exhibition which encourages and supports the work of emerging artists and designers in an accessible and energetic showplace.
Effervescence III, Sussex Barn Gallery, West Dean College, West Sussex
28th November 2008 – 25 January 2009
P.S. Mother Neon Hive and Auntie Glo will be working at the exhibition’s Visitor Centre should you need the quickest shortcut across the West Dean’s impressive gardens to see your favourite designer!

That’s right, one whole kilo of the yummiest concoction of chocolate - ever! Lastly, for those of you who have decided to escape Christmas at home with the in-laws and are heading off to even colder climes to celebrate (or not) in the mountains… we’ve just opened the digital doors to the Winter Snowroom! We’re loving HUMöR’s “Smoking Worm” Jumper and, let’s face it, Auntie Bette’s Christmas jumpers aren’t likely to be making the kind of snowboarding style statements you’d really want to be shouting about!
